Breakfast Delivery in East Pattaya: What Actually Arrives Hot
Everyone who has ordered breakfast delivery in Thailand has had the same disappointment. The food turns up, the bag is warm, and what is inside has quietly ruined itself on the journey. The toast has gone limp. The egg has steamed. Something that was crisp when it left is not crisp any more.
That is not bad luck, and it is not usually the rider's fault. It is packaging.
Why delivered breakfast usually goes soggy
Hot food keeps releasing steam after it is made. In a sealed plastic container that steam has nowhere to go — it hits the lid, condenses, and drips straight back down onto the food. Fifteen minutes later you are opening a box of something that has effectively been sitting in its own sauna.
A curry does not mind. It was already wet. Breakfast minds enormously, because breakfast is built almost entirely on the contrast between something crisp and something soft. Remove the crisp and you have removed the point.
This is why so much delivered breakfast is a let-down, and it often has nothing to do with how good the kitchen is.
What we do about it
We wrap in paper, not sealed plastic.
Paper breathes. Steam passes through it instead of collecting and dripping back. The food stays hot because it is wrapped tightly, but it does not steam itself on the way to you.
It is a small, unglamorous decision and it is the single biggest reason our breakfast arrives as breakfast rather than as a damp reconstruction of it. It also means we have no "don't order this for delivery" list. Everything on the menu is made to be delivered.
What people actually order
The delivery bestsellers are not the small, cautious things. They are the big ones.
Big Breakfast Stack — ฿210. Grilled bread, sausage, two rashers of back bacon, two fried eggs. One of our top sellers on delivery, which surprises people who assume something this substantial cannot travel. Wrapped properly, it can.
Deluxe Chicken BLT — ฿200. The other top seller. Real chicken, roasted fresh that morning and pulled by hand, with bacon, lettuce and tomato. This is the item customers name most often when they write reviews.
Egg Mayo & Crispy Bacon on fresh bread — ฿150. Consistently popular, and useful to know about if you find fried eggs awkward to eat at a desk. The mayonnaise-bound filling is tidy and the bacon still crunches.
Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bap — ฿220. A wider, flatter roll means more filling, and the melted cheese binds the whole thing together.
Bacon & Egg Bun — ฿130. The everyday order. Compact, one-handed, and the one most people settle into having four mornings a week.
Egg Mayo Croffle — ฿145. A croissant pressed in a waffle iron — crisp ridges, laminated layers, and far better at holding a filling than a plain croissant.
Why it takes a few minutes
Nothing sits pre-cooked under a heat lamp waiting for an order.
Eggs, bacon and sausages are all cooked when you order. The chicken is real chicken, roasted fresh each day and pulled by hand — not reformed slices off a block. We do not use processed meats anywhere on the menu. Salad and vegetables are bought fresh from the market rather than out of a wholesale bag.
That is more work and more cost than the alternative, and it is the whole reason people come back. It shows in the public numbers: 4.9 on Grab from 664 ratings, 4.8 on Google from over 200 reviews, and 5.0 on TripAdvisor.
It also means a breakfast sandwich takes a few minutes to make. Order ten minutes earlier than you think you need to and the timing takes care of itself.
The delivery details
We deliver across East Pattaya from Siam Country Club Road. Enter your address at order.bru.asia and it tells you straight away whether you are inside the area — you will not find out halfway through checkout.
The rider fee is paid directly to the driver on arrival rather than added to your order, so the menu price is what the food costs.
Minimum order is ฿150. Orders over ฿450 get a free chocolate brownie added automatically.
We open at 7:30 every day, and the last order goes in at 16:45.
Ordering direct versus the apps
The same Bacon & Egg Bun is ฿130 ordered direct and ฿190 through the delivery apps. That gap is not a promotion — it is what platform commission costs, and ordering direct means you keep it rather than the app.
Across the menu the direct saving averages around 27%. On a breakfast habit of four or five mornings a week, that is real money over a year.
Order breakfast at order.bru.asia — BRU Coffee & Bar, Siam Country Club Road, East Pattaya. Open 7:30 to 17:00 daily.
